Dr. Anna Maria Yiannikos — Clinical Director & Founder

Dr. Anna Maria Yiannikos is the Director of Yiannikos Centre for Holistic Dentistry and has developed a clinical approach that integrates oral health with overall systemic health — with a focus on long-term biological stability, function, and aesthetics.

A graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (1990), she holds a Master’s Degree in Lasers in Dentistry from RWTH Aachen University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is the first female dentist in Europe to be awarded a Master’s Degree in Lasers in Dentistry.

Her work in laser dentistry led to the establishment of AALZ Cyprus — the first franchise of AALZ Germany, an institution recognised for advanced training in the Laser Safety Officer programme. She has also completed an M.B.A. at Cyprus International Institute of Management and the Master Clinician Program in Aesthetic Dentistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (2012).

In May 2006, Dr. Yiannikos was awarded First Prize for Best Clinical Research at the International Congress for Lasers in Dentistry in Berlin. Since January 2008, she has served as Academic Co-Worker at RWTH Aachen University within the postgraduate Master’s programme in Lasers in Dentistry.

In 2017, she was certified in the Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (SMART) by the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology — becoming the first dentist in Cyprus to hold this certification.

Yiannikos Centre for Holistic Dentistry was the first clinic in Cyprus to receive dual accreditation with ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001, achieved in 2011.

Over the past fifteen years, Dr. Yiannikos has been invited as a keynote speaker at numerous European and international congresses, and is a contributing author to Laser International Magazine, published by Oemus Media, Leipzig, Germany.

She is based in Cyprus, where she leads the clinical and strategic direction of Yiannikos Centre for Holistic Dentistry.
