Dr. Christos Constantinides-Specialist Implantologist

Dr. Christos Constantinides studied dentistry at King’s College London, where he was awarded the Dental Circle Award during his undergraduate training.

Following graduation in 2011, he entered the three-year specialisation programme in Periodontology at Columbia University, New York — where he combined clinical training with undergraduate teaching and postgraduate research. His research on microRNA regulation of cytokine responses in gingival epithelial cells was awarded the Melvin L. Morris Periodontal Research Fellowship Award, and his thesis was accepted for publication in Infection and Immunity. He has also contributed to scientific publications in Clinical Advances in Periodontics.

Upon completing his training at Columbia University, Dr. Constantinides was certified by the American Board of Periodontology.

He subsequently developed his clinical career in Austin, Texas, working across multiple private practices as both clinician and consultant, while maintaining his Texas dental licence. During this period, he lectured at professional meetings and scientific conferences, including the North Eastern Implant Symposium and the Tristate Metropolitan Meeting.

Since 2019, Dr. Constantinides has served as the specialist implantologist at Yiannikos Centre for Holistic Dentistry.
