Passion for perfection
Dr. Panikos Yiannikos-Senior Prosthodontist and Founder
Dr. Panikos Yiannikos dedicated his life to dentistry from 1965. He studied at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed postgraduate training at Eastman Dental Hospital in 1974.
He specialised in Prosthodontics, including partial and full-mouth rehabilitation, and in Gerontology — with a clinical focus on improving the oral health and quality of life of senior patients.
Dr. Yiannikos served as Director of the Dental Department at Nicosia General Hospital. In 1991, he established Dental Polyclinic Yiannikou, where he worked as co-director alongside his daughter, Dr. Anna Maria Yiannikos.
He leaves behind a legacy built on decades of clinical dedication and a profound belief in the continuity of his work.
“If I could choose again, I would still become a dentist. My greatest pride, however, is seeing the continuation of this work through my daughter.”

A Legacy That Guides Us
Since the age of two, I knew what my path would be — not by chance, but through the influence of my father, whose example shaped my direction from the very beginning.
He was among the first qualified dentists in Cyprus, beginning his journey from the village of Kissonerga in Paphos, carrying little more than determination and a clear vision. At eighteen, he moved to Tanzania, where he lived for two and a half years — overcoming significant challenges to earn the means to study dentistry.
Until the very last day of his life, he remained my greatest source of inspiration. From him, I learned patience, fairness, respect for others, and above all, humility — values that continue to guide my work and my care for every patient I treat.
Today, I continue the path he began, with a deep sense of responsibility and gratitude.
